What Is Whipped Lotion

The whipped lotion is literally whipped lotion. For example, whipped cream is simply cream that has been whipped with a hand mixer. DIY recipes for a whipped body butter or whipped lotion call for you to create your own lotion, and then whip it using a handheld mixer. The whipped lotion has quite a few benefits that you don’t always get with regular moisturizers.

Whipped Body Lotion Is Lightweight

Whipped lotion is lighter than other lotions. Once you massage it into your skin, you don’t notice that it’s there. Your skin doesn’t feel greasy. However, your skin will feel soft and moisturized.

Whipped Body Lotion Is More Hydrating

I love body cream and body lotion, especially for my dry skin during colder months. It can’t compare to whipped lotion, though. I have one bottle and am thinking about picking up some more. Whipped lotion instantly makes my skin feel more hydrated.

It Absorbs Easily

Thick body creams tend to sit on top of the skin longer. They create a barrier more than they actually absorb into the skin. That’s great for locking in hydration, but that only helps so much.

Whipped body lotion, on the other hand, absorbs into the skin easier while simultaneously creating that same barrier. This is why it’s more hydrating than traditional body butter.

Several Formulas Available

You find almost any lotion in a whipped version. It doesn’t matter whether you prefer shea butter or cocoa butter. Formulas that are rich in antioxidants and vitamins to nourish your skin are now considered the norm. Regardless of what you’re looking for, you can find a whipped lotion to meet your needs.
