Tower 28 Lip Jelly Pros Vs. Cons
This lip gloss offers many wonderful things, from its excellent price to its benefits. Consider the good and bad when deciding if it will be a must-have.
Pros
Wide Variety Of Colors
Tower 28 ShineOn Lip Jelly can be found in various colors, from reds and pinks to browns and oranges. You can even get it in shimmer, which is a translucent color that has a touch of sparkle to it. Tower 28’s variety of colors is inclusive to guarantee that you can find a shade to suit your personality and skin tone.
Gluten-Free
The company advertises that this product is gluten-free, meaning that it should be safe for those who are allergic to gluten.
Vegan
Not only is it devoid of toxic ingredients, but this jelly lip gloss is also safe for vegans. It does not use any animal derivatives.
Apricot Kernal OIl
Apricot kernel oil is a star ingredient in this lip gloss. It helps nourish and soothe the lips, making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin.
Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is another star ingredient in this lip jelly. Lip products containing this ingredient help protect against free radical damage.
It’s Not Sticky
I usually don’t care for many lip glosses because they are so sticky. My lips seem to stick together, and my hair sticks to the gloss every time I turn my head. That wasn’t the case with Tower 28’s lip jelly. It was a wonderful surprise!
Gracefully Fades Away
Another one of my biggest pet peeves with some lip glosses, and why I used to stick to sheer shades, is how they fade away. They come off in chunks, cake on your lips, or something appalling. That isn’t the case with this lip jelly. It slowly fades away over time, eliminating the need for constant touch-ups.
Flawless Application
This high-shine lip gloss adds a pop of color without the mess of lip gloss. The applicator seems to pick up the perfect amount of product. The formula of this moisturizing lip gloss isn’t goopy, making it easy to swipe it across your lips for a smooth application that you can’t help but fall in love with.
Slightly Pigmented
This milky lip jelly adds the perfect wash of color without being too pigmented. It doesn’t add a ton of color like lipstick or lip paints, but it’s pigmented enough to add a subtle touch of color to your lips.
Cons
It Smells Weird
This lip gloss is not scented to smell like cupcakes. It has a sunscreen or plastic smell that might bother you if you’re sensitive to fragrances. Make sure that you apply it with a light hand, too.
Doesn’t Taste Good
If you habitually licking your lips, this is not the gloss for you. It tastes horrible. However, licking your lips while wearing makeup isn’t a good idea; this is a great way to break that habit!
Who Is Tower 28 Beauty Lip Jelly For?
If you love all of the great things about lip gloss, need a nourishing balm, and don’t want to deal with the negative aspects that go hand in hand with most glosses, like it sliding onto your face, this is the product for you! It’s so affordable, there aren’t many reasons not to give it a shot. You can pick it up here.
