How To Use Fresh Brown Sugar Body Scrub
This luxurious sugar scrub is as easy as any other sugar or salt scrub. Apply a generous pinch to wet skin, gently massaging the brown sugar scrub into your skin. As you massage it into your skin, the brown sugar removes dead skin cells to reveal smooth, radiant skin. Then, rinse the body polish off your skin.
Be careful when using a brown sugar scrub in the shower. The oils in the scrub can make tile surfaces slippery.
There is ALOT of oil in this sugar scrub.
Before I use it, I mix it up with my fingers to distribute the oil throughout the scrub, so I don’t wind up with too much oil in the shower or on myself, and I’ve never had a problem.
After your shower, apply a body cream or moisturizer to help lock in moisture and prevent moisture loss.
Pros
Instant Results
You don’t have to use this for weeks to get smooth, radiant skin. Instead, you’ll notice silky soft skin after you step out of the shower, making it perfect for anyone who needs better skin now.
Radiant Skin
Brown sugar is known for being a gentle exfoliator. It slowly exfoliates away dead skin cells to remove them without the irritation that large sugar crystals are known for, revealing brilliant skin that isn’t irritated.
Sensitive Skin Approved
This formula works well if you have a sensitive skin type. It doesn’t irritate the skin or contain many harsh ingredients. My skin is particularly sensitive during the dry Winter months, and I love Fresh brown sugar body scrub.
Even Skin Texture
If you have dry skin, you know that it can feel like sandpaper without the right products. This brown sugar body scrub sloughs away dead skin cells, helping your skin feel soft and smooth. However, it won’t work if you have a skin condition that causes an uneven texture, such as eczema.
Not Too Oily
It’s common for a body scrub with oils to feel too oily. You may have to take another shower to wash some of the oil off, but I didn’t have that problem with this one. The oils in the body scrub were just enough to provide hydration and make my skin feel like a baby’s skin without being too oily. Keep in mind, this is after I mix it up. The oil does tend to sit on top of the scrub, so this is an essential step.
After Shave Gel Substitute
My legs are insanely sensitive after shaving during the Winter, too. I tried using this after shaving my legs instead of after-shave gel, making my legs feel like velvet. I didn’t experience any irritation when I tried that trick, either.
Lasting Results
The product advertises 24-hour moisture and says it’s safe to use daily. However, I didn’t have to use this non-drying exfoliator daily. Two days later, my skin was still soft and supple. That makes it well worth the money compared to scrubs that you have to use handfuls of daily to get soft skin.
Cons
Slippery Tiles
Oils like apricot kernel and jojoba oils instantly smooth skin and help prevent moisture loss, but they can also make the shower floor slippery. While this isn’t a deal breaker, it is something to be mindful of before you use Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish.
Citrus Scent
When you think of a brown sugar scrub, you think of warm brown sugar and vanilla or the sweet smell of dessert. However, that’s not quite what you get with this one. The citrus oils give it a citrus scent. I love the smell, but you won’t if you’re not a fan of citrus.
Who’s It For?
I have unbelievably sensitive skin in the winter, and this didn’t irritate it. It helps smooth my skin texture, which gets bumpy and rough all season. Instead, I have supple skin that feels amazing. However, if you have sensitive skin irritated by citrus or oils, it’s best to test a small amount on your skin before using it on the entire body.
Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish works great for anyone with combination, dry, or sensitive skin. However, you might want to avoid this body polish if you have an oily skin type. It does feel more oily than other body scrubs I’ve used, so it’s best to err on the side of caution.
The Verdict On Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish
Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish is recommended for every skin type, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with oily skin if you wind up too oily. However, if you have dry skin, you’re a few circular motions away from enjoying moisturized skin that feels as soft as the day you were born. Check it out here!
