Kimchi Chic is a beauty brand quickly becoming more well-known thanks to its game-changing formulas. I’m in love with their matte setting spray for summer and couldn’t wait to see how the Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass setting powder held up to the high standards I’ve developed for this beauty brand. How To Use KimChi Chic Puff Puff Pass Powder

To use this setting powder, apply a thin layer of powder to your face after applying your makeup. Let it sit for 1-5 minutes. Then, use a large, fluffy brush to dust off excess powder.
Kimchi Chic Puff Pass Pros Vs. Cons

This white powder is specially designed to give you a perfect powder for setting and baking your makeup. A few puffs, and you’re good to go for hours! However, as with every product, there are always good and bad things. Make sure that you know them both before committing to it!
Pros
Shine-Free Finish
Thanks to the combination of rice powder and Vitamin E, this beautiful setting powder offers a fantastic finish that won’t leave your face shiny.
Powder Puff Included
Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass Powder includes a soft powder puff that is great for setting all of your makeup. However, if you plan to use this powder to bake the makeup under your eyes, it’s best to use a beauty blender.

Vegan And Cruelty-Free
It’s always nice to see a product that believes in being friendly to animals! (It’s also free of parabens, PEGs, phthalates, and sulfates, and there are no synthetic fragrances.)
Lightweight
When you’re layering makeup products on your face, the last thing you need feels heavy. This loose powder is so lightweight that you can’t tell you’re wearing it.
Great For Oily Or Ane-Prine Skin
Kimchi Chic Puff Puff Pass Powder is the perfect thing for oily skin. It helps absorb excess oil on the face without clumping or caking. At the same time, it delivers a smooth matte finish for all skin types.
Affordable
Kimchi Chic isn’t as expensive as more high-end brands, like Bare Minerals. However, it’s also not as cheap as brands like ELF and NYX. This product will set you back almost $20, but it’s well worth it if you love it.
You Can Wear It By Itself
This is a great way to do it if you need to mattify your skin! The setting powder will help you achieve the matte skin that you want. This is great for anyone that discovers they have a shiny face or T-zone by the end of the day.
Various Shades Available
The website offers a variety of shades, from translucent and white to a deep chocolate color, to ensure that everyone can find a color to suit their skin tone, including individuals with medium skin tones and deeper skin tones.
They Sell A Larger Powder Puff
If you’re not a fan of how small the powder puff is (it’s roughly the size of the lid on the container), you can purchase a fluffier version on the website!
Custom Sifter
The heart shape of the sifter is adorable! It’s also practical. You don’t accidentally dump out too much powder, helping you get more bang for your buck.

Cons
Translucent Color Doesn’t Work For Every Skin Tone
This product might be a bit too light for you if you have a medium-dark skin tone. It simply doesn’t look right after applying to tan or dark skin. (You’ll wind up looking too ashy.)
The Classic Powder Puff Can Be Messy
With each press of the powder puff onto my skin, a tiny bit more fell onto my phone, office chair, etc. I ended up just sitting it down and blending it with my fingers. It’s an adorable concept and soft, but a powder puff isn’t the way to go for me.
It’s Glittery
There are tiny flecks of glitter in it. This was a massive disappointment for me. None of the reviews pointed this out, and it didn’t mention it on the website. It mentioned that it was mattifying. This insinuates that there wouldn’t be a shimmer. I still like the brand, and setting spray, but the setting powder just isn’t for me because of this.
I’m glad I tested it on my arm instead of my whole face. You can see the little flecks of glitter in the light as you move. I tried my best to capture them in the pic below.

In Conclusion
KimChi Chic Puff Puff Pass Loose Powder is okay. I think companies should advertise if there’s glitter or shimmer in it, or not a bit more. The powder puff sounds cool, but you probably won’t use it. Pick up a beauty blender if you don’t already have one. If you want a shimmery translucent powder, this one could become one of your favorite powders. You can pick it up on the KimChi Chic website or at stores like CVS.
