How To Use ELF Monochromatic Multi Stick
You can swipe this product from E.L.F. Cosmetics across your cheeks, eyelids, etc, and then blend it in with your fingers.
Another application method is to swipe it across the back of your hand and then apply the product with a brush or your fingers. This method allows for more precise makeup application.
Remember that this lightweight formula works like a dewy balm or a dewy stick, not a powder stick. It is not a good base for powder products.
ELF Cosmetics Monochromatic Multi Stick Pros Vs. Cons

Pros
Affordable
You simply can’t be the price of this product at four bucks. It costs a fraction of the price of high-end products but has fantastic quality. If you discover that you don’t care for it, you’re only out $4.
Travel Friendly
The small size and easy twist tube make the ELF Monochromatic Multi Stick perfect for anyone on the go. You can toss it in your purse or in your pocket if you need to touch up your look throughout the day.
Sheer Pigment
The blendable cream has a sheer styled pigment to deliver the perfect amount of color without making you look like a clown.
Leaves Skin Glowy
If you’re looking for a blendable formula that leaves a touch of radiance, this product is it. It leaves your skin with a dewy look that makes highlighter unnecessary.
Not Greasy
The unique formula is one area where this product truly outshines other products in the same category. It delivers a shine and slight shimmer but doesn’t make your skin look greasy. It doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue, either. You’ll love the creamy texture of this fantastic product!
Multi-Purpose
You can use the ELF monochrome multi-stick for your eyes, lips, or cheeks! The blendable formula is perfect for one-eyeshadow looks. The sheer color is ideal for using it like a highlighter across your cheeks. Using it to add a subtle splash of color to your lips is another great idea!
Vegan And Cruelty-Free
Like other ELF products, the ELF Monochrome Multi-Stick is vegan and cruelty-free.
Plenty Of Glitter
Sometimes, the glitter isn’t distributed evenly throughout the product, so you’ll wind up with more on one swipe than the next. However, this is an excellent thing if you love glitter! If you’re not a fan of glittery products, check out the rest of the blogs to find more product reviews and the perfect product for your vanity!
Cons
Not As Practical As You’d Think
It seems to be a really practical product. The monochrome multi-stick gives the impression you can just swipe and go, but you do have to sit down and blend the colors in. It works as a cream blush or cheek tint does.
Not A Lot Of Color Payoff On The Lips
With the way it looks pigmented on the rest of my face, I thought I could also pull it off as lipstick. Unfortunately, the pigment wasn’t enough to take the place of lipstick for me. I had to apply one layer after another to get the color to show up, and then there was so much glitter I didn’t care for it. On the other hand, if you love glittery glosses, you’ll love how this shows up on your pout.
Creases On Oily Eyelids
Every product can’t be perfect. If you have oily eyelids, you’ll need an eye primer and set this product with some powder to ensure that it doesn’t crease as the day goes on.
Doesn’t Last Long By Itself
A quick swipe across your eyes, cheeks, or lips will not last all day with this product. You’ll find that it fades away after a few hours. It’s essential to keep that in mind before ordering it.
However, it is travel friendly, which makes it perfect for touch-ups.
You can also use a combination of primer and setting powder or setting spray to make it last longer.
In Conclusion
Should you buy it? For around $4, there aren’t many reasons not to. It doesn’t last all day, but you can easily re-apply it or pick up some primer. Keep in mind that it does have Dethicone as one of the top ingredients, so this product will play best with silicone-based products. You can pick it up here!
