Porefessional Super Setter Pros Vs. Cons

Pros
Mess-Free Applicator Mists
There’s nothing wrong with pore-blurring powders. They do the job, and feel like a featherlight cloud. However, I love how mess-free setting sprays are!
Available In A Mini
Sephora also sells this product in a mini version for a fraction of the cost. It’s a great way to determine if it’s the right product for you before paying $32 for a full-size bottle.
Waterproof
This water-based formula is also waterproof. It can easily help your makeup survive a small sprinkle.
Long-Lasting
The fine mist locks makeup on place. Then, it helps it stay in place all day long! Mine lasted for 13 hours before I wiped it off because it was the end of the day. I’m extremely confident it would last for the full 16 hours as advertised.
Alcohol-Free
I’ve tried setting sprays that are great, but they smell like alcohol. The smell is so strong that I wind up tossing them. This setting spray locks on makeup, and doesn’t have any alcohol.
Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Setting Spray Minimizes Pores
This microfine mist isn’t going to give you poreless skin, but it’s as close as you’re going to get with a makeup setting spray. It drastically minimizes the appearance of pores, with or without makeup. Wear this long lasting makeup setting spray to lock your look in place, or on those no makeup days for smaller pores.
Makes Skin Feel Hydrated
This water-based, alcohol-free formula was perfect for the dry patches on my skin. It helped my skin feel nourished and hydrated, even when I wore just the setting spray without makeup.
Natural Finish
The mattifying finish isn’t too mattifying if you know what I mean. Instead of a severely matte look, it gives your makeup a natural finish. It melts powders to help complete your makeup look.
Lightweight
It doesn’t feel heavy like some other setting sprays do. Instead, you can barely tell that you’re wearing it.
Zero Residue
There is no sticky residue or any residue. Instead, it melts into your makeup and skin to keep your makeup in place without making your face feel weird.
Absorbs Quickly
The fine mist absorbs quickly into your skin, making it a great idea for anyone that is always in a rush. You won’t have to fan your face to speed up drying time with this one.
Recommended For All Skin Types
This product is recommended for every skin type, and I believe it. I’ve used it on sweaty days in the midst of summer. Dry skin patches throughout fall feel soothed. It works on my dry/combination skin in the winter. I have slightly sensitive skin, and it caused zero issues.
Cons
It’s A Really Fine Mist
It’s nice that it’s a fine mist, but it’s a bit too fine. I found myself spraying over and over, and over, to cover my entire face.
Should You Buy It?
Most people compare this one to Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray because it’s holy grail quality. This single setting spray can hold you over in every season regardless of your skin type. I think it’s wonderful enough that you’d be fine picking up a standard size, but you can always grab a mini size if you want to be more confident in the product before committing. You can pick it up here!
